The University of Iowa Research Development Office within the Office of the Vice President awarded 17 faculty with OVPR Early Career Scholar Awards. Ruth Chimenti, assistant professor, physical therapy and rehabilitation science, Carver College of Medicine, was one of the recipients with her research "Identification of novel factors that contribute to pain in individuals with Achilles tendinopathy: Examining the interaction of the immune system with exercise".
